Surveys & interviews conducted with participating families in the first few months of the pilot (early 2023) reflect progress toward greater economic stability. Families described using funds to pay off debt, increase their savings and a greater ability to pay for everyday basic needs for themselves and their children: healthy food, housing, utilities and transportation to work, school and child care.
